Livelihood for Youth and Women

Provide alternative source of livelihood to unemployed and disadvantaged youth in my community by training them in turning food waste (Palm Kernel Shell) a local eco-friendly resource into the production of local jewelries and ornaments.

Environmental Sustainability / Climate Action

The project will also help in reducing environmental degradation by preventing indiscriminate disposal of solid waste, and ensuring environmental sustainability by planting of trees for the protection of water bodies for climate action.

The cutting down of rosewood is inimical to the livelihoods of individuals and the environment/climate. Our campaign will focus on the indiscriminate felling of rosewoods in the Sissaala East district by foreigners with their local collaborators.

The aim will be to sensitize the community on the dangers of felling the rosewood and its negative impact on the environment and their livelihood, and the threat it poses to the young and unborn generation.
